Kata Tindak Seni (Art Talk Action) is a series of events held in conjunction with the KakiSENI Arts Festival. This April, the series’ launch will see the appearance of performing arts professionals, experts, critics and art makers from Malaysia and within the region. It aims to create discussions and actions that will raise the state of performing arts industry of Malaysia.
The series will feature events that will discuss the various issues, challenges and problems faced by the industry. With informed views and opinions from experts from the region, Kata Tindak Seni will be broken down into different topics. Ranging from arts audiences to the right infrastructure, from the right kind of support from the government to the need to revive an arts council. How does Malaysia stand amongst its closest neighbours? Does the performing arts make good business investments?
Kata Tindak Seni will be an open arena where the doers, makers and the key-stakeholders of the performing arts industry will come together to ensure that the art talks will turn into actions.
